Cajun pole anchor

Description:

This Cajun pole anchor comes four or five feet long and is constructed of heavy duty polyvinyl chloride plastic with a black vinyl hand grip. The pole is filled with foam and the  end of the pole is plugged with a dowel and can be reshaped if necessary. The leash is made from nylon rope and is five feet long with a large loop at the end.  The pole anchor works great in all bottom types but is best in muddy or sandy bottoms.  The pole anchor floats so that there are no worries about stowing or getting mud in your kayak.  The shorter leash is ideal for fishing because there is less of a chance of fowling your line while casting or fighting a fish.  The pole anchor can be used to pole your kayak in the shallows while stalking fish.  When a fish is spotted, slowly set the pole anchor and fish.  When you need to move again pull the pole anchor and continue to stalk fish.  The pole anchor can be used with a trolley system to improve fishing angles.
